Who can apply. Applicants who meet all of the following criteria:

• Students whose parent(s) have not graduated from a 4-year university regardless of other family members’ level of education.

• Students pursuing a bachelor's degree in a STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) discipline.

• Students transferring from East Los Angeles College, Pasadena City College, or Los Angeles City College to Cal State LA University.

• Students who have completed all required first and second year courses in their major.

• Students who qualify for in-state tuition at Cal State LA.
